Heavensgate Ranch

My husband and I moved out to the country and started our ranch in Peyton, Colorado in 2016. We named it Heavensgate Ranch because, for us, it is our little slice of Heaven on Earth. We love living here “out here” in the quiet with our menagerie of animals. The simple life we’ve chosen away from the hustle and bustle of the city gives us the time to slow down and truly enjoy the beauty of God’s creations here on Earth.

We believe in raising our animals naturally and treating them with the respect and care that they deserve. In our minds, natural is the way life was intended.

Pasture Raised Eggs

The best eggs come from happy chickens. It’s not just a fact, but it’s the way we do things here at Heavensgate Ranch!

Our chickens aren’t just egg-making machines. They’re our pets! We raise our chickens in a spacious coop and allow them access to the outdoors at all times. They can forage in our pastures for greens and bugs, scratch, cackle, and stretch their wings. They eat a high-quality feed in addition to forage, and always have access to clean water.

Humanely Raised Pork

One of the most fun things to hear on our homestead is the happy snorting of our humanely raised pigs. And that is the way we believe all pigs should be raised – in a happy, healthy, outdoor environment.

Here at the ranch our pigs are free to forage the way they were meant to. They have access to clean water and a comfy shelter we like to call the “Piggy Palace”. They are fed a nutritious diet in addition to foraging and the occasional treat from the kitchen. We love to spend time watching the pigs and giving them a good scratch behind the ears from time to time.

Whether you are buying piglets from us or finished pork, rest assured that you are getting a top quality product from a loving homestead.

Horse Boarding

Heavensgate Ranch offers convenient horse boarding for your favorite companion. We have 5 acres of native grasses for foraging which is cross-fenced and rotated for optimal grazing and nutrition.

We feed a quality grass or grass mix hay and can feed grain, medication, or supplements when provided and at your request.

We have a large 4 stall barn with tack room and heated water year-round. There is NO barbed wire used here at the ranch. A round pen is available for use and trailer parking is available at no additional cost.  We will blanket by request.  There are many places to ride right here from the ranch, and many more places just a short trailering distance away.

As horse owners ourselves, we look out for your baby as if it were our own. With a large animal vet next door, Homestead Regional Park and Rock Island Trail within riding distance, spacious open grazing, and beautiful views, Heavensgate Ranch is the perfect place for your horse to call home.
